OH-STL on ollut jonkin aikaa huoltovarauksessa ja tilanne jatkuu sellaisena toistaiseksi tuntemattoman ajan. Kone lensi taannoin Tukholman Brommaan, jossa havaittiin huomattavan määrän öljyä poistuneen moottorista. Tarkemmissa tutkimuksissa öljynsuodattimessa havaittiin metallilastuja, joten kone määrättiin välittömään lentokieltoon. Tilanne on ollut sangen haastava, sillä Brommassa ei ole varsinaisesti Diamond-huoltoa ja selvitystyön aloittanut huoltofirma Västeråsista kärsii henkilöstövajauksesta lomakauden vuoksi. Moottorivalmistaja ei ole myöskään saanut vastausta öljynäytteen analysoinnista, mutta joitakin lisätarkastuksia on määrätty. Olemme pyytäneet toista västeråsilaista yritystä jatkamaan huoltotoimien tekemistä ja asian edistämistä.Odottelemme tällä hetkellä vastauksia, mutta joudumme valitettavasti varautumaan moottorinvaihtoon ja usean viikon lisäviivästykseen. OH-STL has been reserved on service status for some time now and the situation will continue for an unknown time. The plane was flown to Stockholm-Bromma where an excessive amount of oil was discovered to have left the engine. Some metal chips were found in the oil filter during further checks, and thus the plane was grounded immediately. The situation has had its challenges mostly due to the fact that there is no Diamond Service Center at Bromma and the Västerås-based company which started the service has lack of staff due to holidays. The engine manufacturer still hasn’t gotten results of an oil analysis performed by another company, but has ordered some further maintenance tasks to be performed. We have requested another Västerås-based sercive center to continue the maintenance. We are waiting for answers at the moment, but unfortunately have to prepare ourselves to and engine change and several weeks of service time. We will inform about the situation after some progress can be noticed.
